A powerful storm wreaked havoc on San Diego County Monday, causing massive flooding, widespread electricity outages and countless road closures.

The storm, which was brought on by a weak atmospheric river, dropped multiple inches of rain on San Diegans over the span of roughly 12 hours.
Flash flooding occurred in nearly every neighborhood across the county, with reports of numerous water rescues and damage to roadways.

A flash flood warning remained in place for the San Diego River at Fashion Valley until midnight Tuesday.
